We Are Here is a multigenerational storytelling project bringing together First Nations Elders, artists, and local school students to celebrate the living traditions, stories, and artistic practices of First Nations culture in Western Sydney. The exhibition speaks to the often-unseen Aboriginal presence in Fairfield City, affirming visibility, connection, and continuity.
Through art, film and intergenerational exchange, We Are Here offers a personal exploration of knowledge‑sharing, care and generosity between Elders and community.
